Avdeling for natur- og realfag/ Faculty of Scientific Subjects
Faculty of Scientific Subjects is focused on the development of courses and research within the fields of Natural Science, Computer Science, Mathematical Science and Sports and Outdoor Science. Per A. Godejord, is the Dean of the Faculty. The Faculty offers Bachelor studies in Computer Science and a Master study in Didactics of Natural Science, and a range of shorter studies within the field of Scientific Subjects. The Faculty also offers one course in English; ITC in society and work life (ITL103), 6 ECTS credits, as a part of an international cooperation within the field of Educational ICT.
Avdeling for natur- og realfag har som oppgave å drive undervisning og forskning innenfor fagområdene naturfag, idrett og friluftsliv, matematikk,og informasjonsteknologi. Avdelingen har utdanningsløp av ulik varighet, inklusive en masterutdanning i profesjonsrettet naturfag. Avdelingen ledes av dekan Per A. Godejord, og har et avdelingsråd bestående av dekan, seksjonsledere og utdanningsleder informatikk. Utdanningsleder informatikk fungerer også som dekanens NK og har særlig myndighet og ansvar for studiested Mo i Rana.
